I have just completed doctoral research into transformative learning experiences in counselling & psychotherapy education. My aim was to discover the key moments that contribute to the process of becoming therapists, and to identify excellence in psychotherapy training – through the stories of my participants from four modalities (humanistic, transpersonal, psychodynamic, and integrative).
